A Catalytic Affordable Housing Project

MURAL closed on this mixed-use redevelopment project in February 2024. Located on the high-traffic Hillside Avenue corridor, the project will consist of approximately 235 affordable apartment units with neighborhood-serving, ground-floor retail.

The new development is one block away from the Parsons Blvd Subway stop and walking distance to the Jamaica LIRR Transit Hub, presenting a walkability score of 94/100.​

Surrounded by a rich and growing multi-cultural population, the Hillside Avenue project provides an opportunity to deliver on our six points of advocacy. The new development will enhance this underserved neighborhood by bringing much-needed modern retail with affordable housing above.
