Sandi Silk

Senior Vice President, Head of Development

Prior to joining MURAL, Sandi was the Senior Vice President and Development Parter for Jefferson Apartment Group (JAG), focusing on projects in Boston and Florida.  Sandi has deep experience in all aspects of mixed-use and multifamily development and led all development and acquisition activities for JAG in the New England Region.  While at JAG, Sandi was instrumental in the J Malden Center Redevelopment, a Public-Private Partnership that led to the transformation of Malden Center, bringing a mix of residential and retail space as well as a new City Hall for Malden.  She acted as lead developer for multifamily projects throughout the Boston region and in Fort Lauderdale and was a member of the Senior Management Team.

Prior to JAG, Sandi acted as Director of Development for Federal Realty Investment Trust’s mixed use Assembly Row project and served in various development roles at JPI and at Archstone. At the start of her career, Sandi was a Project Manager with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Management (now the Department of Conservation and Recreation) where she managed the development of City Square Park, the first open space parcel to be developed as a result of Boston’s Big Dig project. 

Sandi has a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies and Public Policy from Boston University and received a Master in Urban Planning and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Washington in Seattle. She is involved in community and industry organizations, currently serving as the Chair of the ULI Boston District Council, and Vice Chair for the Town of Brookline’s Economic Development Advisory Board in addition to serving on the Real Estate Committee of The Community Builders.  Formerly, she served a member of the Board of Directors for REFA and was a Girl Scout Troop Leader.
